Carnival Row Season 2: Is It Possible to Come in 2022 and Why Has It Been Delayed?

After what feels like an age, fans will finally be able to see their favourite detective and faerie team reunited on television. Carnival Row is an original series created by Travis Beecham and produced by Amazon Prime Video (Pacific Rim, Clash of the Titans). The plot focuses on the human and fae occupants of the Burge and the secrets that surround them.

Rycroft “Philo” Philostrate (Orlando Bloom), Vignette Stonemoss (Cara Delevigne), and the rest of the Burge will return to our screens in Season 2 of Carnival Row, but fans are all wondering the same thing: when!?

Cara Delevigne stated in a brief Instagram post that production was halted in March 2020 owing to the COVID-19 outbreak, and it was not permitted to resume until January 2021. Only until the virus had been suppressed could filming resume. Bloom and his fiancée Katy Perry had their first child together, which was a far more positive reason for the delay. According to a farewell statement posted on Bloom’s Instagram, filming will conclude in September 2021, after she has had the chance to spend much-needed time with her family in Prague. Even though over three years have passed since Carnival Row’s closure, fans are still uncertain about when it will reopen.

Carnival Row Season 2 Release Date:

The cast and crew have returned home, and post-production is in underway. According to rumours, Season 2 will shortly release, a full three years after the series’ debut. Without a release date, the question of how the product will be disseminated remains.

Unfortunately, the second season of Carnival Row will not be available on Amazon Prime Video in June 2022 among other new movies and television programmes.

Amazon Prime Video has not yet announced the premiere date for Season 2 of Carnival Row at the time this article was written. Since it took more than 17 months for the first season to become available on the streaming service after filming concluded, we may expect Carnival Row Season 2 to premiere in the third or fourth quarter of 2022 if the production timetable remains unchanged.

Carnival Row Season 2

As expected, we do not have a great deal of information regarding the forthcoming season of Carnival Row, but there are a number of hints about what may occur after the show’s current conclusion.

As a result of the conclusion of the first season of Carnival Row, we are aware of one of the most significant findings: the government is currently working on a new segregation plan to correctly separate magical creatures and regular humans. Therefore, Philo decided to escape with Vignette so that the two of them could finally be together, which would undoubtedly play a key role in the upcoming season.

The story of Agreus and Imogen, who fled to a safer region to spend their lives together but were forced to return, is another that I am certain we will revisit in the future. Agreus and Imogen are portrayed by David Gyasi and Tamzin Merchant, respectively. Alternatively, they declined. As long as the political climate of the legendary animals and humans remains riddled with hostility, these two love stories will almost likely continue to evolve.
