Speaking out, Christina Hall explained how difficult her divorce from Josh Hall is becoming. Just one week after it was revealed that she and the realtor had split up, the Flip or Flop star posted a message on her Instagram Stories on Thursday, July 25.
She posted on Instagram Stories, saying, “Over here waiting for the typical Hired PR rep speech about how I was blind-sided and how I’m working on myself and taking time to heal at her ranch.” “In the interim, I’m not as quiet and pleasant over here as I used to be.”
The message went on, “I have worked extremely hard to create this life for my children and myself, and anyone who would try and take what they do not deserve or what they did not work for should be ashamed.” “A man with a big ego and insecurities can try to bring you down, but’still I rise.’“
Christina, 41, wrote, “For those that aren’t aware…,” to end the statement. Divorces take time to finalize and there’s always a breaking point. This one is intimate.
On July 15, Josh, 43, filed for divorce, stating that they had “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of their breakup. He specified July 8 as their split date in his filing. Christina, on the other hand, indicated in her filing that they separated on July 7. He indicated that they were married on October 6, 2021.
Josh is requesting equal distribution of their Newport Beach, California marital residence and the rights to TV shows they co-created, in addition to spousal support.
Josh and Christina did not want children in their marriage. She already has children from her previous marriage to Tarek El Moussa, Taylor and Brayden, and a son named Hudson from her previous marriage to Ant Anstead.
The HGTV star had recently accused Josh of withdrawing $35,000 without her permission when she made her statement.
“Using documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight, Josh managed to divert over $35,000 of my rental income into his own account,” the woman asserted. “This money is specifically allocated for paying loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance on these rental properties. I am requesting that Josh account for the funds taken and return them to me.”
Christina said in the paperwork that she is the owner of rental properties in Nashville and Franklin, Tennessee, and that Josh arranged the payment behind her back by sending texts to the property manager. A snapshot of the purported text messages was also provided by her to the complaint.
She went on, “I specifically use those funds to pay any loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance for these rental properties. I am asking Josh to account for the funds taken and return them to me.”
Josh returned to social media on Thursday, posting a picture of himself with the praying hands emoji on his Instagram Stories. With his back to the camera. Christina uploaded a selfie on her profile shortly after, captioning it with an emoji of hands in prayer.
