The exploits and lives of a group of doctors who were best friends in medical school and now work at the same hospital are chronicled in Hospital Playlist.

The K-drama is one of the few exceptions to the one-season, 16-episode regulation. Despite its popularity in South Korea, Shin, the director of the drama, has previously announced that a third season is not planned. Soompi stated that the third season of Hospital Playlist was unlikely because to health concerns.

Shin added, “I don’t believe it will be simple to decide if we’ll continue with this plot because producing my first multi-season drama has caused me a great deal of anxiety and weariness.” On the other hand, the major protagonists tempted viewers with their potential.

Yoo Yeon-Seok has not been in a recent K-drama, however, he did appear in the 2012 film Vanishing. His other acting credits include the autumn 2018 debut of the Netflix original series The Accidental Narco. Kim Dae-Myung and Jung Kyung-ho have not yet been cast in any new projects.
