Jadakiss is the stage name of Yonkers, New York rapper Jason Terrance Phillips. A member of hip hop group The Lox,, managed by Ruff Ryder and signed to Bad Boy Records in the 1990s.
Jadakiss Early Life
On May 27, 1975, in Yonkers, New York, Jason Terrance Phillips was born. When he was just 12 years old, he was asked by his parents to start working, so he began selling narcotics.
A freestyle rhyming street performance inspired Jadakiss to do the same, and he eventually met Styles P and Sheek Louch through it, who would become close collaborators and friends with him for the rest of his career.
Jadakiss started his music career by signing with Bad Boy. Later, Puff Daddy changed the name of the group to “The Lox.”
