Early Life

Teresa Gorga was born in Paterson, NJ, on May 18, 1972. Her parents, Giacinto and Antonia, were from Sala Consilina. Teresa’s brother Giuseppe (also known as Joe) is a “Real Housewives” castmate since the third season. Giudice graduated from Berkeley College with a degree in Fashion Marketing and Management. Teresa was a Macy’s associate buyer after graduation.


Teresa and her then-husband Joe joined the cast of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” on Bravo in 2009. In October 2015, Giudice participated in a three-episode spin-off called “Teresa Checks In,” which centred on the Giudice family after Teresa was sentenced to prison. During the tenth season, she reportedly made $62,000 every episode. Giudice’s TG Fabulicious fashion line comprises clothing and accessories with statements like “Happy marriage, happy life” and “Love, love, love.”

As of 2012, she had raised $70,000 for The NephCure Foundation and was on the board of her “Real Housewives” co-star Dina Manzo’s children’s charity Project Ladybug. Legal/Bankruptcy Issues

Joe and Teresa went bankrupt in 2009. They claimed over $11 million in debt and had to auction off much of their possessions and sell their mansion.

Following their arrest in July 2013, Joe and Teresa pled not guilty to 39 counts of conspiracy to commit mail, bank, wire and bankruptcy fraud, and making false representations on loan applications.

As part of a plea deal, the Giudices admitted to 41 counts of fraud in March 2014. Joe’s sentence was 41 months in prison and possible deportation (while his family migrated from Italy to the US when he was a year old, he never became an American citizen); they were also ordered to pay $414,000 in reparations, which they paid.

Teresa spent her time at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, from January 5 to December 23, 2015. Joe served his sentence from March 23, 2016 to March 14, 2019 and was detained until October 2019, when he relocated to Italy to work while awaiting the court’s judgement on deportation. Since Teresa’s 2009 bankruptcy case was dismissed, and she was required to make restitution to the IRS and New Jersey’s department of treasury, she sued her bankruptcy lawyer for $5 million in late 2014.


Teresa married Joe Giudice on October 23, 1999, and had Gia on January 8, 2001. After Gia, they had three more daughters: Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana (born September 14, 2009). Teresa and Joe divorced in September 2020, and she stated two months later that she was dating businessman Luis Ruelas. In June 2018, Giudice competed in the NPC South Jersey Championships, placing third in the Bikini: 40+ category.

TETERA AND JOE BUILT A NEARLY 10,000 SQ FT MANHOUS The estate has six bedrooms, five bathrooms, a pool, and a Cinderella staircase. Teresa listed this home for $4 million in 2014, during her legal issues. In September 2020, she listed it for $2.5 million. In January 2021, she lowered the price to $2.25M. Her price dropped to $1.9 million a year later. Joe is still a co-owner of this mansion:

Teresa and Luis spent $3.35 million for a new mansion in Montville in March 2021. Luis was the acquirer legally and financially.

“Dina is not my maid of honour,” the mother of four informed Snow emphatically, referring to her daughters Gia, 21, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 13. My children are my maid of honour.

The reality television star also stated that she will have eight bridesmaids. She would not specify what role Manzo would play in her wedding.
