Westminster, Maryland’s Carroll County Farm Museum hosts the annual Maryland Wine Festival every September. The event is put on by the Maryland Wineries Association and has live music, 25 craft booths, wonderful cuisine, and a wide variety of other activities, including wine tastings from over 45 different wineries. The 38th annual Maryland Wine Festival will include over two dozen wineries throughout the state. The Carroll County Farm Museum will play home to this two-day event on September 17th and 18th, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Participants are encouraged to sample and learn more about the many wines produced in the state of Maryland. Tickets for both the Wine Explorer Tour and the Main Field Tasting can be purchased in advance on the festival’s website or through Eventbrite.

Carroll County Farm Museum manager Jane Sewell said, “All the popular food, wine, and music is returning to our farm setting, and the Maryland Wine Explorer Village has expanded even more this year.”

Festival-goers who purchase an Explorer Pass will have unrestricted entry to the event, as well as the VIP Explorer Village. You can try wines from over a dozen different vineyards throughout Maryland with this premium pass. A picnic area, filtered water, and indoor, air-conditioned restrooms may all be found in the Explorer Village.

Philosophy Winery owner and current president of the Maryland Wineries Association Kimberly T.
