Durst was born on August 20, 1970, in Jacksonville to Anita, a church employee, and a retired police officer.

Limp Bizkit was created in 1994 by Durst Rivers’ cousin John Otto and Malachi Sage bassist Sam Rivers, who were also relatives of Durst Rivers.
