The Witcher season 3

Lauren Schmidt Hissrich is the creator of the Polish-American fantasy drama television series The Witcher, which is based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s book series of the same name.

The whole first season premiered on Netflix on December 20, 2019, and consists of eight episodes. This adaption was inspired by The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny, which are collections of short stories that occur before the main Witcher story.

Henry Cavill reprises his role as Geralt of Rivia for the third season of The Witcher in the first shot from the set of the upcoming Netflix series. A premiere date for the show’s return has not yet been confirmed, but this provides additional proof that production on the next season is well underway.

We are able to confirm that Henry Cavill (Man of Steel, Enola Holmes, and The Tudors) will reprise his role as Geralt of Rivia in Season 3 as a result of a tweet from The Witcher’s Twitter account announcing the start of Season 3 filming with a picture from the set.

Sixty-eight percent of the 91 reviews collected by Rotten Tomatoes for the first season of the show were positive, with an average rating of 6.26/10. According to the website’s commentators, Henry Cavill lends his imposing character to a fantasy series rich with subversive ideas and dark humour.
