Liam Broady’s Career
Broady’s professional career began when he won the Natwest Dorset Open in 2005. Rafael Nadal won the European Masters under-14 title in 2008 at Orbetello, Italy. Broady and Tom Farquharson defeated fellow Britons Lewis Burton and George Morgan in the Boy’s doubles division at the 2010 Wimbledon Championships.
In 1995, the pair became the first British team to win the tournament. Broady advanced to No. 2 in the junior combined world rankings in March of 2012.
Broady opted to seek LTA assistance in 2012, which caused him to become estranged from his father, and the two did not speak for a time.
