Put on your earphones because the band that everyone hates is finally going to fulfill their promise to provide new music to an audience that did nothing to merit such a punishment. With the ambiguous title “I Will Not Break,” Disturbed began teasering a new song on Instagram this morning. The song is set for release on Friday.
At least they were kind enough to alert us beforehand. The Instagram post provides us a sneak peek at what’s to come with a few seconds of incredibly generic guitar riffs and footage of the band in the studio.
According to Blabbermouth, the producer of the new song, Drew Fulk, previously worked on Disturbed’s 2022 album Divisive. Lil Wayne, Lil Peep, Papa Roach, and even talented musicians like Knocked Loose are among Fulk’s other accolades.
Although there is currently no information on whether this single is a part of a larger album, given that Divisive was released three years ago, a new album would likely continue the band’s practice of releasing a new album roughly every three or four years. It appears that new Disturbed music is on the horizon, so be ready.
In the meantime, the band will shortly go on a tour with Three Days Grace and Sevendust, and their 25th anniversary version of The Sickness is scheduled for release on March 7. Here are the dates to see them on tour, for those who don’t care about their eardrums:
