The Electric State Final Trailer Drops – Netflix Showcases the Russo Brothers’ Vision!

The latest action epic from the Russo brothers doesn’t resemble the eerily apocalyptic picture Simon Stålenhag outlined in his 2018 graphic novel, The Electric State, but it has addressed those worries in its most recent trailer.

However, since the response is “a liberal application of Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch,” your level of support may already be determined.

The second and last trailer for Joe and Anthony Russo’s adaptation of Stålenhag’s science fiction universe was released by Netflix. The movie, which loosely follows the same plot as Stålenhag’s original, follows a young girl (Millie Bobby Brown from Stranger Things) as she searches for her missing brother around the dystopian United States.

After being forced to join forces with a renegade smuggler named Keats (played by Chris Pratt in Guardians of the Galaxy), the film deviates significantly from the original work. The two and their robot allies end up rebelling against the corrupt ruling class and demanding rights for the sentient machines.

Could possibly pass away while listening to some Marky Mark, but the robo-lution requires sacrifices.

Fans of Stålenhag’s work who are already annoyed by the drastic changes the Russos are making to that aesthetic are unlikely to be appeased by the new teaser, even if there are undoubtedly still aspects of it present, particularly in whatever evil corporation antics Stanley Tucci is engaged in.

However, considering their backgrounds in Marvel, we might still get a decent action movie with some explosive moments. Woody Harrelson’s take on the pleasantly grown-up Planter’s Peanut also occasionally features a peanut-based joke.

On March 14, The Electric State will be available on Netflix.
