Chris Smith Career
Chris Smith was born in Mount Ulla, North Carolina on 11 February 1992. This young player played as a defensive end in the National Football(NFL).
He was also selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He has also played for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Smith took admitted to the West Rowan High School, in Mount Ulla, North Carolina where he led the school team to back-to-back state championships and 30 consecutive wins.
Interestingly, He got more than 200 tackles and 48 sacks in his junior and senior seasons, earning him recognition and accolades.
Smith’s tremendous performance in high school gave him the chance to be elected by the University of Arkansas. Here, he played for four years from 2010 to 2013.
Amazingly, Smith had great numbers of tackles and sacks each year, with 52 and 9.5 respectively during his junior year as well as 37 tackles and 8.5 sacks during his senior year. In 2013, these numbers earned him a second-team All-SEC selection.

In 2021, Baltimore Ravens signed a contract with Chris who was released during the preseason and later signed to their practice squad. In the same year, he was signed to the Houston Texans’ practice squad and eventually promoted to the active roster.

Chris is one of only five players in school history to record 20-plus sacks in a career. He started all 12 games as a senior in 2013, recording 36 tackles, a fumble recovery, and a pass defense, leading the team with 8.5 sacks, and ranking 30th in the nation.
He earned All-America honorable mention, as well as second-team All-SEC honors. He commenced every game (12) as a junior in 2012 and notched a career-high 52 tackles and a team-leading 9.5 sacks, which ranked fourth in the conference.
He added four pass breakups and a forced fumble and was named honorable mention All-SEC. Chris played all 13 games with three starts as a sophomore in 2011.
