Lala Kent has promised to make up with David Arquette for being rude to him on the set of their 2020 movie, Spree.
Kent, 33, wrote on her Instagram Stories on July 22: “I’m sorry if I wasn’t nice to you on the set of Spree.” “I’d like to make it clear that I was on set with a lot of well-known actors, including you.” I’m a girl on reality TV. It scared me and made me feel like I didn’t fit, but I was also very thankful for the chance. If that came off as rude, I’m sorry. That wasn’t what I meant.
When Arquette, 52, went on the July 21 show of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, he talked about how he didn’t enjoy working with the Vanderpump Rules star. The Scream alum “met [her] couple of times” and she wasn’t “the friendliest to [him].” Though they “didn’t really have any scenes with each other,”
Just rambling on the spot Chen, 56, told Arquette on Sunday that Kent “gave me a little attitude.” You know what I mean? I felt a little attitude. It wasn’t my intention to be rude. I asked myself, “Why am I being so rude?”
He remembered that when he was with Kent, it was “exactly” like he was shooting Vanderpump Rules scenes.
Spree came out in January 2020 and stars Joe Keery from Stranger Things as a rideshare driver who kills his passengers to get popular on social media. Arquette played Keery’s dad, and Kent played a traveler named Kendra Sheraton. The scary movie also had Sasheer Zamata, Kyle Mooney, and Mischa Barton in lead roles.
After Arquette made his claims, his friends quickly defended him on social media. One person wrote, “David Arquette seems like one of the nicest guys.” Why in the world would she act that way? LOL, she’s not an actor. She’s also not nice!”
Kent, meanwhile, is going to have her second daughter soon after having an IUI with a sperm donor. She wore an airy Selkie minidress to her baby shower earlier this month. It was the same style that she made fun of her Vanderpump Rules co-star Ariana Madix for wearing in 2021.
The author of Give Them Lala is also a mom to a 3-year-old girl named Ocean, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend Scott Emmett. In March, she said she was pregnant, and in an Amazon Live chat the following month, she talked about having another girl.
Kent told us in April, “I felt full of energy with this baby.” “I thought man power would have been nice to have in the house.” But I love spending time with my friends. There are a lot of girls in the house right now.
