Billy, who is publicly gay, told The Telegraph in a new interview, “It’s not Harry Styles’ fault that he’s white, cute, straight, and fits into the system that way. I call out to the guards. Non-binary, and so on and so on and so on. No. It doesn’t make me feel good. You or your people are using my group to make yourself look better. You didn’t have to give anything up.”

Billy also said that he had talked to Anna Wintour, the editor of Vogue, who had called out to him about how to move the case forward. He said, “That b***h asked me at the end, ‘How can we do better?'” I was so surprised by what happened that I didn’t say what I should have. This isn’t the first time Billy has said something about Harry’s cover of Vogue. Billy Porter is apologizing to Harry Styles because he said the singer looked bad on the cover of Vogue in November 2020. In an interview with the Sunday Times last month, Porter was talking about the state of nonbinary fashion when he brought up the fact that Styles was the first solo guy to be on the cover of Vogue, and he was wearing a dress.
Porter told the Sunday Times in October, “I started the conversation about nonbinary fashion, but Vogue still put Harry Styles, a straight white man, in a dress on their cover for the first time.” Now, the star of Pose is explaining what he meant when he talked about Styles. Porter said sorry to the “Watermelon Sugar” singer about the attack last week when he was on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
